Dinner courses arrived a bit too quickly for a leisurely pace, making the experience feel slightly rushed. the tap water had a strong chlorinated taste. bottled options are available but might not always be the best choice. Lastly, it would be nice if the bar stayed open later for those wanting an after-dinner drink, especially when the beer garden is in play.

I had such a fantastic stay. the food was simply outstanding, especially the steak in ale pie! The breakfast pancakes were a sweet treat, and the atmosphere was just lovely.

fabulous location by the river, the room was super comfy n clean with high quality stuff. the dinner was amaze, great wine n a nice vibe. breakfast was really good too, the pancakes were like so good. the staff were friendly n made us feel welcome, highly recommend this place for a chill stay.

I had a wonderful lunch with great service and a warm welcome, while the charming outdoor seating beside the river made my stay even more enjoyable. the hotel is also conveniently situated near stunning landmarks like Cenarth Falls, which is just a short walk away.

Had a blast staying with friends! We explored two nearby places from the lovely Clydey Cottages, both were stunning and perfect for a group adventure. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. the food and drinks were top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Lovely room, fantastic staff, as always, my stay was fantastic with great amenities like the outdoor dining area, free parking, and delicious breakfast options that really enhanced my experience during my three-night stay.

The Double Room offered a cozy atmosphere with solid amenities, making it feel like a snug retreat after a day of exploration. Enjoyed a lovely Ploughman's lunch outside by the stream, indulging in a well-curated selection of local cheeses and tasty accompaniments.

Despite the warmth in the room, the public areas felt a bit chilly, which might catch you off guard if you're used to a warmer ambiance. Breakfast had a slight misstep with overly salted mushrooms, though most meals were solid overall. The pie of the day was not what I had in mind, featuring roast beef slices instead of slow-cooked chunks, which was a tad underwhelming given the expectations.
